Upcoming Buyback

When a company opts to repurchase its own shares from existing shareholders this can be executed through a tender offer or by acquiring shares on the open market. Typically the buyback price is set higher than the current market value.

Arnold Holdings is going to announce share buyback on 25th January 2024.

Upcoming Stock split

When a company decides to make its shares more affordable without changing its overall value they do this by increasing the number of shares available. For example, in a 1:2 split, if you had one share before now you’d have two but the total value you own remains the same. It’s a way to make investing in the company more accessible for people.

Dolphin Offshore Enterprises is ready for a stock split at a ratio of 10:1. This means that each existing share will be divided into 10 shares. Right now face value of each stock is ₹10 but after the split it will be ₹1. The company has set the record date for this on January 25 (Thursday). This move is to make the company’s shares more affordable and appealing to a wider range of investors.
